My name is Eliska Click.\u00a0 I have an 11-year-old son named Daniel.\u00a0 I have been a single mom for ten years.\u00a0 I live in rural Alabama but was raised on a cattle farm in Georgia.\u00a0 I am a Firefighter Paramedic and I work on an Advanced Life Support Fire Engine as a Lieutenant.\u00a0 I have been in the fire service for ten years.\u00a0 I have a bachelor\u2019s Degree in Criminal Justice from Liberty University.\u00a0 I also have a small catering business on the side.\u00a0 I normally only cater for friends, family, and referrals.<\/p>\n
In my spare time (what is that?) I enjoy fishing, swimming, piddling with a few plants, and working on my house.\u00a0 I am partial to animals, especially my dog!\u00a0 Shhhh\u2026don\u2019t tell the cats (but they wouldn\u2019t care anyway).<\/p>\n
I have an incredibly strong relationship with my mom and dad, and I have a close-knit group of friends.\u00a0 Without their help, encouragement, and kindness I would not have been successful in my endeavors.<\/p>\n
I do not particularly enjoy religion, but I love the Lord and have a relationship with Him. \u00a0I believe He has guided me every step of the way and I regularly depend on Him for help.\u00a0 I often say, \u201cRelationship, not religion\u201d.<\/p>\n

I quickly found it was costly to start a non-profit, but eight years later, on July 23, 2021, Hope Arrives, Incorporated was born.\u00a0 Since our establishment, we have covered a variety of needs, including ballet shoes, groceries, Christmas for three families, a transmission for a vehicle, power bills, water bills, tires for vehicles, and more!\u00a0 Until this website was built, one hundred percent of donations have gone towards the needs of those around you and me.<\/p>\n
P.S.\u00a0 TJ graduated with honors from South Alabama, continued his education with a Master\u2019s Degree, and is employed with the Army Corps of Engineers as an environmental biologist.\u00a0 He has a wife and a son.\u00a0 Hannah has worked full-time as a vet tech for almost ten years and is completing nursing school.\u00a0 She is engaged to be married and recently bought her own home.\u00a0 Tricia owns a house cleaning business, her two children are A and B honor roll students, and her daughter is an exceptional dancer.<\/p>\n

In 2013 a young man named TJ Rickey was starting college.\u00a0 He was exceptionally smart and was raised by a single mother with no support from his father.\u00a0 His car died, and he needed another one to get him to and from work.\u00a0 Otherwise, he rode his bike to classes.\u00a0 He was attending South Alabama on a partial scholarship playing the trombone, double majoring in biology and chemistry.\u00a0 The week before his car died, I bought a larger used vehicle for myself.\u00a0 I decided to give TJ my Mazda3.\u00a0 I approached several churches and asked them if they would help me with a tax write-off by running it through their non-profit tax ID.\u00a0 Not one church would help me.\u00a0 I still gave him the vehicle, worth over 5k.\u00a0 This situation lit a fire in me, and at that moment I decided to start my own non-profit organization.<\/p>\n
Before I was able to establish Hope Arrives, TJs sister, Hannah, began college while working full-time.\u00a0 She also needed a vehicle.\u00a0 I found an old used Tahoe and bought it.\u00a0 Another young lady named Tricia, whom I have known for 25 years found herself a single mom of two children and a van that chose to blow up.\u00a0 I have 8 payments left on her Ford Focus!<\/p>\n
